I believe that reading can provide a path to self-discovery and engender meaningful connections. I work to create authentic learning experiences that my students find engaging when teaching reading. I want to create shared reading experiences built on respect and cultivate the trust of my students. Educators should facilitate activities that will not only motivate students, but also meet individual student needs - helping them to become life-long learners.
